  1. History of the Institution:- Welcome to City College of Education. It is said that “the status of the Teacher reflects the Socio-Cultural ethos of the society and no people can raised above the level of the Teacher”

Such exhortations are an expression of the recognition of the important role played by teachers as transmitters and as inspirers of man’s eternal quest for knowledge, of himself and of his external environment. Also the role of the teacher has been eulogized in our ancient past in the ideal of the ‘GURU’.

In order to epitomized above mentioned role expectation, City College of Education (CCE) was established in the year 2008 at Balsamand Road, Arya Nagar in a beautiful and serene atmosphere  which is very near to internationally acclaimed Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar (Haryana).

City College of Education (CCE) is recognized by Northern Regional Committee of National Council for Teacher  Education, New Delhi which is a statutory body of Union Government established under an act of Parliament.

Earlier City College of Education was affiliated to “A” NAAC Grade awarded university Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Now as per order of Haryana Government all educational colleges of Haryana have been affiliated to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind-a state Government university of Haryana.

Accordingly City College of Education is now affiliated to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind from 2016-17  onwards for B.Ed regular course and B.S.E.H., Bhiwani  & S.C.E.R.T., Gurgaon for D.Ed (D.El.Ed) Course

City College of Education (CCE) is an institute where we just no teach, we build Character.

It is an epitome of best blend of virtues of old & new Sanskars. We feel proud to get “A” Grade award continuously for 5 years from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
